Fishing Charter
We offer 4,6, and 8 hour fishing trips. When we push off and head to our fishing grounds you will notice an abundance of life. Bald eagles flying about along with Harbor seals lounging on the docks. One of our primary fishing locations is in direct view of the famous Mendenhall Glacier. When we arrive to the fishing grounds expect to see salmon surfacing and jumping around the boat. King salmon June 1st- July 10th. Pink Salmon/Chum salmon July-August. Coho salmon August-October. You can fly fish, spin cast, or we can troll. The choice is yours. Fight them on the fly!
We offer boat based fly fishing for salmon here in Juneau Alaska. We provide all the rods, reels, and flies you need to hook into an Alaska salmon!
Spin cast and Trolling
We can also set you up in shallow water to spin cast for salmon(what species depends on the time of year) and sea going trout. We can also troll if you would rather sit back and wait for the action.
Salmon Fishing
Starting in June the king(chinook) salmon run opens up for us. The season starts for us chasing the amazing king salmon. What they lack in abundance they make up for in size and fight. After the king salmon, the pink and chum(humpy and dog) salmon start flooding in. They typically stick around for awhile in healthy numbers. Then finally the coho(silver) salmon arrive. They may not be as big as a king but they put up a lot of flight and still make great table fare.
Sea Going Trout
We have plenty of opportunity for sea going trout like dolley varden and cut throat. All of this is dependent on where we are fishing.

Pricing
4 hour: 1-2 clients $700, An additional $350 per person max 6.​
6 hour: 1-2 clients $900, An additional $450 per person max 6.​
8 hour: 1-2 clients $1,300, An additional $650 per person max 6.​
(5% cbj sales tax not include)
​There is a $700.00 minimum to take the boat out.

Our salmon fishing tours are completely private, so you and your fishing party get the boat to yourself. We provide all fishing gear that is required for your trip. We highly recommend that you bring rain pants and a rain jacket. Our boat does not have a cabin to get out of the elements if the weather is less than desirable

What to bring and Shipping
You must provide a signed and current fishing license and king salmon stamp when applicable. We also recommend dressing in layers and bringing good rain gear. We typically only have a 10 to 15 minute boat ride, but it can get chilly. Junea is also in a rainforest so it is always a good idea to plan for it. We also provide snacks, soda, and water on all of our trips.
We are partners with the local fish processor so we can have your catch vacuum sealed and shipped anywhere in the USA if you would like.
